Wishcasting Wednesday – What Do You Wish to Celebrate?

Wednesday already, my, where does the time go?

So, Jamie Ridler is asking us today what we wish to celebrate. Nice one, eh? (Happy birthday Jamie!)

I’ve already said countless times how I am often always asking myself “what’s next?”, how I have trouble staying in the now, and actually take a look at where I am. I hardly take savasana after I finish something, I rush to the next pose and project. (and I am the first one to insist on having a long juicy savasana when I teach yoga, go figure).

So today, I choose to take the time to celebrate what I have accomplished this year, because, seriously, it’s been a hell of a ride! Between yoga teacher training, coaching training, a move, teaching yoga, Nanowrimo, and last but not least publishing my first ebook, I can’t say I haven’t accomplished anything.

Not to mention we got a cat back in May and she is still alive and well. Looks like I am better with furry living things than with plants (don’t ever EVER ask me to water your plants while you’re away).

And today, I want to celebrate being a girlfriend to Lovely Boyfriend who has been my rock all the way. I celebrate being a teacher to my wonderful students whose energy and commitment to their own growth inspire me every single time (seriously they kick ass). I celebrate being a student to wonderful teachers and mentors. I celebrate having faithful and beautiful readers who come to see what’s going on in this little corner of the blogosphere, thank you so much for being you. I celebrate being where I am right now, even if it’s not always easy. I celebrate being a human mummy to a fur ball that has brought so much light and joy to our home (want a pet? get a cat). I celebrate being me and all that I have, and I am not talking specifically about stuff. You know, stuff.

What about you? What do you wish to celebrate today?

PS: Got your copy of the Little Guidebook of Daily Intentions yet? 30 days of intention to guide you through a mindful month, and in December it’s pay-what-you-can-and-support-Tree Sisters. I know you want it, so go get it here 🙂 And yes, you can totally change the price!

PPS: back to the future – seriously, the coaching? Coming to you in January. Because I can’t wait to see you shine. I am up to great things and you are too baby, sign up for my free newsletter to stay tuned!

PPPS: oh, and there are still a few spots in my December workshop. And there’s another workshop in January. I am loving 2011, and it looks like 2012 will be even more fantabulous!

PPPS: er… ok I think I have told you everything I needed to tell you actually. Ah yes: have a wonderful day and celebrate life!

  12. What a lovely group of accomplishments!! Congrads!!

& so nice to take stock – I often go through that list of ‘what might I want to complete??’ – I’m a Tai Chi/Qigong gal, & last year embarked on level 3 of Soaring Crane – with the desire to teach that form … then winter, the grandbaby … so that’s again on my list of ‘do I want to finish that?’ …
I also have a tendency to dash on, so nice reminder of taking that ‘here & now’ breath!!

As you wish for yourself, so I also wish!
